Fredericksburg New Year's Eve Weekend AND Hot Air Balloon Event

A fun, casual weekend in the Heart of the Texas Hill Country for New Year’s Eve in Fredericksburg, Texas.

On Friday, guests will head to Bankersmith Dance Hall (Open at Noon) and Saloon for live music and their Famous $20 Steak Night. There will be no jazz, balloons, helicopters or polo on Friday.

On Saturday, New Year’s Eve head to the Grapetown Winery & Fredericksburg Polo Club on Saturday at 4PM (Saturday Hours 4PM-8PM) to enjoy Polo, Hot Air Balloons (weather contingent) and Helicopter Rides. We will have a few hot air balloons for tethered rides on. site (will inflate when weather allows, but always weather contingent), a full bar and polo! Helicopter Rides will be available from 4PM-8PM! The polo matches on Saturday will run from 4PM-5:30PM! Great food! Great drinks! Helicopter and Balloon Rides (weather contingent). Limited vendors and more!

Weather Alert: New Year's in the Texas Hill Country can be 70 degrees or it can be 25 degrees. Please come prepared to enjoy this rain or shine event! The party will go on! If weather grounds the balloons due to unsafe winds or precipitation (which has happened in the past), the event will be held inside the Grapetown Vineyard Tasting Room with Helicopter Rides in lieu of Balloon Rides.

This is not a festival with hundreds of balloons. If you are looking for a festival with hundreds of balloons, or even dozens - do not come to this event. You will be disappointed. We will have 2-4 balloons on site to conduct tethered rides. They are big and beautiful when inflated (weather contingent) but we are NOT the Albuquerque Balloon Festival. Also, please note, balloons are extremely weather contingent. This is why we have incorporated helicopters. When the balloons cannot inflate, due to unsafe conditions, all Balloon rides are automatically upgraded and transferred to helicopter rides! This Jazz and Balloon Bash has something for everyone and at most price points. From all inclusive VIP areas to affordable general admission passes that allow nearly full access to the property, we have a package to fit nearly every budget.
