Texas Hay Bale Art Fall Palooza

WE INVITE YOU TO START MAKING HAY...INTO ART!

Greetings from Bankersmith! We started a tradition this past year of painting our round bales and bringing them to life! We had so much fun making and sharing these handsome hay giants with ya’ll that we decided to sponsor the 1st Annual Bankersmith Hay Bale Festival – July 2-4th, 2022.

The theme this year is “Salute Our Heroes!” Use your creative design skills to transform hay bales into art of your choosing. Are you an artist? Like to paint? Join us! There will be cash prizes for the top three hay bales finishing first by attendee votes. Categories will be 1) Most Popular 2) Most Creative 3) Most Patriotic. There are no design rules except all sculptures and names must be appropriate for all-ages and respectful to the larger Bankersmith community.

GUIDELINES:

o Entry fee is $0; We pay you $50 to be a part! We provide the hay bales as well.

o Hay bales will be delivered to each site beginning the last week of June.

o Sculptures should be finished and ready for presentation by July 1st.

o Sculptures may be made out of round or rectangular bales – use your imagination.

o Participants need to provide all materials used on the creation.

o Keep in mind all materials must be secure and withstand the weather conditions.

o If painting, we recommend spray paint.
